From the very beginning of wedding planning, Kari and her team had been nothing short of amazing. Any question I had she was quick to respond and so helpful with her knowledge of weddings, timelines and general advice. I felt so supported in each decision I was making for the big day.
Something Kari may not even remember is that years ago, when I worked at a coffee shop, she came through the drive-thru on a slow morning while I was opening. She asked how my morning was going, and I told her I was planning my wedding, even though I wasn't even engaged yet! She told me that if I ever needed a planner or coordinator, she "knew a girl," talking about herself. A few months later, I found out she was the planner for my sister's wedding, and about 2.5 years later, she was coordinating mine. It truly felt like everything came full circle.
Kari has the best ideas and the most accommodating team. As a bride, things can start to feel overwhelming, and the last thing you want to worry about on your wedding day is whether the tablecloths are set, your flowers are in the right place, or all the little details are coming together. Having KW Weddings there to manage everything made the day go even smoother than I could have imagined.

If you do one thing for your wedding, hire Kari and her team. I put my wedding off for 4 years because it was so overwhelming and I had no idea where to start, every idea we had fell flat. When I finally booked a location, I ended up speaking with Kari and knew immediately we wanted to hire her! My plans with my original venue started to fall apart and Kari immediately went to bat for me and my fiance. She helped us pivot to the beautiful Wallowa Lake State Park. She and her team planned an incredible, magical day from the ground up. They turned nothing into our dream venue. The communication was unmatched, she always responded promptly and when I came to her with an idea, she always responded with "I have a girl for that." Shout out to Christine for making our beautiful signs and Gracie for a picture perfect charcuterie board! Kari had the best ideas and was always supportive of ours. On the day of, an unexpected thunderstorm came in, her entire team came together to save all of the important things! And when it passed they put everything back so we could have our dance under the lights, Kari even dried our dance floor with a towel. I had a wonderful experience with Kari and her team. My son had gotten engaged in June while I was traveling out of the country. He informed me that the wedding would be taking place on October 4 in Summerville, Oregon, a place I had never been, and a timeframe that felt quick but manageable if I only knew who to contact. I was to be responsible for the rehearsal dinner, which, granted, is easier than an entire wedding, but still made me panic since I was completely unfamiliar with the area.
That's where Kari became a lifesaver! One phone call to her was all it took. She had wonderful contacts and was my go-to person for everything.
